Just outside the walls of Chora stands the ruined chapel of Agios Georgios. Once the heart of a thriving Jesuit monastery—complete with windmills, a library, and a school—it now quietly guards a mystery few notice: a pirate’s tomb. Buried beneath this sacred ground lies Philip de Crevelier, son of the notorious pirate Hugo de Crevelier, who terrorized the Aegean. But why would a pirate be laid to rest in holy soil, among monks and abbots? Follow noblewoman Sophia Della Rocca through the alleys of Bourgou during the pirate raid of Easter 1676. As the island burns, she and a brave Jesuit monk, Robert Saugler, try to save lives and reach the safety of the Kastro. Their path reveals courage and an unexpected act of mercy that changes everything. Inspired by the chronicle of the Capuchins, this immersive soundwalk brings the past of Naxos to life—one footstep at a time.
